Egg Pakora
Ingredients:
- 4 hard boiled eggs
- ½ cup gram flour(besan)
- 1 teaspoon turmeric powder
- ¼ teaspoon garam masala powder
- ½ teaspoon cumin seeds powder
- ¼ teaspoon black pepper powder
- ¼ teaspoon chaat masala powder
- 2 chopped or paste garlic flakes
- 1 or 2 (according to your test) chopped green chilli
- 1 small onion, thinly sliced in a circle
- Water – for making thick paste
- Oil – for frying
- Salt – to taste
- Coriander leaves (optional) – For garnish
Method:
- Peel the hard boiled eggs and cut into six pieces. Keep it aside.
- Medium mixing bowl mix gram flour, turmeric powder, garam masala powder, cumin seeds powder, black pepper powder, chopped green chili, garlic paste or chopped garlic and salt.
- Add little water and mix it well. Make thick batter.
- Heat oil in a frying pan. Keep the heat on medium flame.
- Deep sliced egg one by one into batter and fry in a heated oil.
- Fry until both sides of the eggs are golden color.
- Once it’s done frying keep the fried egg pakoras on a paper napkin, so extra oil will be removed.
- In a serving plate serve egg pakoras garnish with circular cut onion and chopped coriander leaves.
- On top of it sprinkle chaat masala powder and serve hot with chutney or sauce.
