Easy Mix Veg Cutlets
EASY MIX VEG CUTLETs
Ingredients:
Mix vegetables – 2 ½ cups chopped
(beans, peas, carrots, corns)
Potatoes – ½ cup thinly chopped
Besan(gram flour) – ½ cup
Cumin seeds – ½ tsp
Green chili – 2 or to taste Chopped
Oil – 3 tab spn
Salt – 1/4 tsp
Bread crumbs – 1 cup
Red chili powder – ¼ tsp
Cumin powder – ½ tsp
Turmeric powder – ½ tsp
Black pepper powder – ½ tsp
Salt – 1/2 tsp or to taste
Chopped coriander leaves – 2 tbsp(optional)
Method:
- Heat 1 tab spn oil.
- Add cumin seed and fry few second until roast.
- Add chopped green chilies.
- Add chopped mix vegetables and potatoes.
- Fry on a medium heat for 5 minutes.
- .Add red chili powder, turmeric powder, Cumin powder,
black pepper powder and fry another 3 minutes. - Cover with lid and let it fully cooked.
- Turn the heat on low flame.
- Once it cooked remove from heat and place into another
pot. - Mash with spoon or spatula and add besan.
- Mix well.
- Take small amount and with your hand give it a oval
shape. - It should be small cookie size, but oval shape.
- Cover the cutlet with bread crumbs from both
sides. - Heat a tava or shallow fry pan and with the little
amount of oil shallow fry all the cutlets. - Make sure to flip and shallow fry from both sides of the
cutlets. - It makes around 18 cutlets.
- Serve hot with coriander chutney or any other chutney
or sauce.
